Privacy Policy — Grab Event Bot

This policy explains how Grab Event Bot (the “bot”, available on Telegram as @grabevent_bot) handles your data, including information obtained through Google APIs.

What Google data we access

If — and only if — you choose to connect your Google account, the bot requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope (create and manage calendar events) and your basic Google account identifier (email/OpenID) for sign-in. The bot does not request access to read your existing calendar contents.

How we use it

The calendar access is used solely to add events that you submit to the bot into your Google Calendar, and to remove an event when you ask the bot to (the “cancel” / disconnect actions). We do not use this access for any other purpose.

Storage & sharing

Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used only by the bot to perform the actions above. We do not sell your data, do not share it with third parties, and do not use it for advertising or to train AI/ML models.

Limited Use disclosure

Grab Event Bot’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention & deletion

You can disconnect at any time from the bot’s Settings (or by sending /disconnect). Disconnecting revokes the token at Google and deletes the stored credentials. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions.
